Tips
Handling Precautions
-
Never let Hydrochloric Acid Solution, Sodium Hydroxide Solution, Bleaching Agents, Abrasive Cleaner as well as Cement Water make contact with the stainless steel sheet on both side (top and bottom surface) as all the above-mentioned agents will contaminate the stainless steel surface with heavy stained marks and cause color damage.
-
Do not perform soldering or welding on the stainless steel sheet as it will cause color changing on the metal surface.
-
PVC protective film usually increases its adhesion strength as time passes. To avoid any residue of PVC protective film remained on the stainless steel, the film should be removed within 90 days upon receipt, and store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight.
-
Do not let iron powder, iron nails as well as other external materials stay on the steel surface because they can damage the anti-rusting nature of the stainless steel.
Maintenance & Cleaning
Daily Cleaning
-
In case of light stains, clean the surface by gently wiping its stained portion with a piece of soft cloth (like flannel) slightly wet with 30-40% warm water. To clean the stainless steel, Hairline finishing should be wiped according to the direction of its pattern. Others like Mirror/ Bead Blasted/ Vibration finishing, wipe in circular move gently.
-
Do not use hard cloth for cleaning.
Heavily / Oily Stained Cleaning
-
Wipe gently by alcohol solvent. In case of more intensive strains, use organic solvent, e.g. Acetone, then again a clean soft cloth to wipe gently.
Cautions:
Never use bleaching agents, abrasive cleaners or chlorinated chemicals as cleaning agent, as they will cause discloration and damage on the surface.
